What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Cost Analyst (Government) position at JST?
Overview
JST is seeking a Cost Analyst to prepare the organization's pricing of its services and ODCs to the government while continuing to keep the organization competitive in the current market landscape. This individual would report to the Pricing Manager. He / she would conduct market research, assist with the design of pricing policies, prepare pricing responses, and oversee the maintenance of historical pricing data.

Cost Analyst Responsibilities
- Perform analysis and prepare pricing response on competitive service contracts ranging in size from $4M to $100M or higher
- Work with Pricing Manager and Executive Leadership to devise and recommend bidding strategies to effectively compete against competitors
- Interact with Capture Managers and capture team members, business development and contracts departments, Pricing Manager and the executive management to fully understand Level of Effort and pricing requirements.
- Summarize the details of the conclusions derived from the competitive analysis; conducts formal briefings to executive management; responds effectively to various competitive scenarios and counterpoints during real-time strategy discussion.
- Conduct pricing proposal reviews
- Responsible for thorough analysis of the solicitation's pricing requirements and evaluation criteria post-RFP, gathering intelligence, and developing a competitive pricing strategy culminating in a target rate, win price, or other analysis as appropriate.
