JSW Media Inc. is a leading online retailer with a focus on Amazon.com. Our 30 person staff manages several in-house brands as well as providing sales channel support to over a hundred vendors.
We are seeking a visionary Creative Director to lead our creative team and elevate our brand presence across Amazon and other ecommerce platforms. This role will oversee all creative efforts, including product photography, video production, A content, and brand consistency. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong eye for design and a proven track record in ecommerce.
We've built strong momentum with our in-house brands on Amazon and have recently expanded by launching dedicated DTC websites for each. Now, we're seeking a Creative Director to take our brands to the next level. This role will be responsible for building and leading a team of in-house talent and virtual contractors to bring each brand’s vision to life.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, or a related field (preferred).
- 2 years of experience in a creative leadership role, preferably in ecommerce or digital marketing.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in branding, photography, and content creation.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, DAM systems, and Amazon Seller Central.
- Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.
- Experience managing in-house staff, remote teams, freelancers/contractors.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines for all in-house and third-party brands.
- Oversee product photography, video production, and A content creation.
- Manage and mentor a hybrid team of in-house and remote creatives, including photographers, graphic designers, and content writers.
- Implement and maintain a digital asset management (DAM) system to organize and streamline access to assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to ensure alignment and success.
- Ensure all creative output meets Amazon’s requirements and best practices.
- Lead brainstorming sessions for campaigns, client projects, and creative ideas.
- Review and optimize product detail pages (PDPs) to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high conversion rates.
- Stay updated on ecommerce trends, competitor strategies, and Amazon’s evolving content requirements.
- Analyze consumer behavior to identify trends and opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date on e-commerce trends and adapt the company's operations accordingly.
