Position Summary
JSW Steel is seeking to hire an experienced Wastewater Operator to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Implement Water Systems related procedures to ensure uninterrupted availability of various water systems.
-Responsible for proper functioning of the potable system and Activated sludge/RBS Water Systems.
-Perform necessary work in operating mechanical equipment such as pumps, oil skimmers, raking system, sand filters.
-Responsible for constant monitoring of the water system parameter, analyzing and logging of data and identifying possible system malfunctions.
-Discuss system modification projects with the director of utilities and taking responsibilities to its execution.
Experience:
-Basic knowledge about the functionality of the groundwater potable systems and activated sludge/RBC.
-Basic knowledge about the working of pumps, oil skimmers, sand filter and cooling towers.
-Ability to operate a forklift and backhoe.
-Must be able to preform under minimum supervision.
-Maintain an exceptional level of attendance.
-Must have the the ability to obtain a Water and Wastewater C or D license.
