Job Summary
JSW Steel is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable ROT Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and measuring incoming steel plates to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plate inspection techniques, the ability to identify defects, and the capability to document and report findings accurately. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Other Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Must understand (M.S.S.) Mill Setup Sheet and (QSOP) Quality Standard Operation Procedure of the relevant inspection station
- Measurements of the plate as per QSOP and computer entry
- Report Non-conforming plates to the Quality Supervisor
Requirements:
- Must able to have great veriable and written communication skills.
- Must be able to operate computer.
- Must be able to operate measuring instruments.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- High school Diploma or GED.
- Experience in inspection quality will be preferable.
- High school Diploma or GED
