About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Sustainability Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental and sustainability initiatives that drive business growth and minimize our ecological footprint.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain environmental and sustainability monitoring and reporting programs and systems.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Lead the development and implementation of ISO management systems and standard operating procedures.
- Serve as a technical resource and support for steel making operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or Material Science and Engineering.
- 12 months of experience in steel making, specifically with hot rolled products.
- Hands-on experience with compliance and monitoring systems.
- Project and personnel management skills.
