Responsibilities:
· Burn slabs as per dimensions.
· Cut the test pieces as per requirements.
· Assist the supervisor’s jobs to achieve the task and targets.
· Remove slags and/or burns from cuts.
· Follow work instructions and procedures.
· Report deviations to Slab Yard lead man.
· Coordinate with crane operators for slab movements.
Qualifications:
· Ability to read, write and understand English.
· Ability to lift 50lbs.
· Ability to comply with all safety and environmental policies.
· Must be available to work 12 hour Rotating shifts Days/Nights.
· Must wear safety PPE, such as a hard hat, glasses, steel-toe boots, and gloves, when handling material.
