Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Architect to design and implement the strategic security architecture for JSX. The ideal candidate will work closely with IT leadership to ensure that our cybersecurity systems, policies, and procedures are aligned with business objectives while addressing emerging security threats. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive security blueprints and ensuring that they are implemented across all our technology infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cybersecurity operations, including incident detection, response, and remediation.
- Develop and maintain security standards, guidelines, and best practices to safeguard company assets and sensitive data.
- Oversee security tools and systems, including SIEM, endpoint protection, and identity & access management solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, development, and management, to align security needs with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
- Review and evaluate new security technologies and tools, providing insights and recommendations for improving security posture.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience (5 years) in cybersecurity architecture, security engineering, or related roles
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, compliance requirements, and best practices.
- Proficiency with security technologies, including SIEM, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and endpoint security.
- Familiarity with cloud security, identity & access management (IAM), and network security principles.
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Pay & Perks
Compensation range $150,000 - $160,000. This was established after performing market research and is aligned with our approach to compensation. Most qualified Candidates will receive an offer near the starting point of our compensation range.
