What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weed Abatement position at JT Lawn Services and Landscaping?
JT Lawn Services and Landscaping is seeking an additional weed abatement technician. This is a seasonal full-time or part-time, hourly position. We offer great hours and a flexible schedule. Candidates must be professional, hard-working, motivated, and have excellent communication skills. Candidates should be comfortable working alone or in a group depending on project size. Candidates must also be comfortable interacting with clients professionally and respectfully.
Weed abatement is the removal of weeds via hand picking and spraying with a backpack sprayer. Our weed abatement team drives to clients' properties and removes the requested weeds. On-the-job training will be provided.

Base requirements are as follows:
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays as needed
- Detail Oriented
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs
- On-the-job training provided (experience not required but is appreciated)
Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Salary : $15 - $17
