JT Site Services is General Contractor based in Upland, California. We have been in business for over 20 years and have been growing every year. We are now in need of a qualified general manager to lead both the development of an additional department, as well as integrating that department with the existing production and administrative teams. This person will oversee all administrative functions within the organization, ensuring smooth operations and efficient workflows. They will manage staff, resources, and budget, while also implementing policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity. This individual will report directly to the VP of Administration and will be responsible for management and coordination of all functions pertaining to human resources, payroll, AR/AP, office management, contract management, fleet administration, and IT management at the discretion of company officers to align those items with our strategic direction. This role will directly supervise subordinate office staff and will be responsible for those personnels’ growth at JT Site Services.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years in the role of Office Manager/Administrator in a construction environment with a workforce of 20 personnel.
Required Experience
Oversee daily office operations, including facilities maintenance, office supplies, and ensuring a safe and functional work environment.
Construction office environment contract management (preliminary notices, releases, liens, subcontracts.)
Vendor/Subcontractor account management (license and insurance compliance)
Coordination with Ca Secretary of State requirements
Strategic sourcing and cost comparison of overhead services (i.e. IT, business insurance, employee benefits, etc.)
Prepare reports on administrative performance, track key metrics, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
Development, implementation, and enforcement of administrative policies and procedures.
Management of the administrative budget, tracking expenses, and preparing budget proposals.
Identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline workflows.
