Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including medical offices, assisted living facilities, and specialized care environments. As an LPN/RN, you will play a crucial role in supporting the health and well-being of our patients while adhering to established standards of care.
Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform IV infusion therapy and manage pain management protocols.
- Assist with family planning services and educate patients on health-related topics.
- Conduct tube feeding procedures and monitor patient responses.
- Triage patients effectively to determine the urgency of care needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide support to patients with developmental disabilities, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect.
- Engage with families to provide education and support regarding patient care.
Experience
- Previous experience in a medical office or assisted living environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of nursing standards and best practices in patient care.
- Ability to work effectively within a team while demonstrating strong communication skills.
- Compassionate approach towards patient care, especially for individuals with developmental disabilities.
