LPN/RN PRN Mechanicsburg Evening and Night Shifts

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of settings, including teaching hospitals and medical offices, and will be proficient in providing high-quality patient care. The LPN/RN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians to support patient health and well-being, ensuring adherence to established standards of care. Experience with eClinicalWorks is preferred, as well as familiarity with specialized areas such as Ophthalmology, hospice care, and ICU.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and post-care instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records using PCC software.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with various ailments.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols in all aspects of patient care.

Experience

• Current LPN/RN license in good standing.
• Previous experience in a teaching hospital or medical office setting is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of standards related to patient care and safety protocols.
• Experience with PCC or similar electronic health record systems is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate patients effectively.
• Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional patient-centered care.

Pay: $41.00 - $52.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
