Duties
- Perform fire restoration tasks including assessing damage and implementing restoration plans.
- Execute water damage restoration processes to mitigate loss and restore properties to pre-damage conditions.
- Conduct mold remediation efforts to ensure safe and healthy environments for clients.
- Utilize power tools and equipment effectively for cleaning, restoring, and rebuilding damaged areas.
- Carry out carpet cleaning procedures as part of the overall restoration process.
- Assist with asbestos abatement projects when necessary, following safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout all restoration projects.
- Communicate with clients regarding the restoration process and provide updates on progress.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the restoration industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of fire restoration techniques and water damage restoration practices is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with mold remediation procedures and asbestos abatement is a plus.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Must be physically fit, as the role requires lifting, standing for long periods, and performing manual labor.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred.
