Position Description
LABORERS NEEDED - Concrete Construction
San Diego, CA
A building industry leader, established in 1992, JT Wimsatt Contracting Company, Inc. services both public and private sector clients in a wide range of commercial, industrial and specialty construction projects.
Laborers support work on our current projects throughout San Diego County. This is a physically demanding position, that requires previous concrete labor or equivalent experience. Position reports to the job Foreman and / or Superintendent
Duties and Responsibilities
- Erecting and disassembling scaffolding,
- Shoring
- Concrete Formwork
- Shoveling and vibrating concrete
- Digging ditches, trenches
- Using picks, shovels, and jack hammers
- Stripping formwork
- Dismantle and clean forms after use
- Loading and unloading material and equipment
- Identifying building materials and tools. Distribute to the appropriate locations as directed
- Cleaning construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
- Other duties as assigned
