Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and route driving efficiently. The Delivery Driver will operate a box truck or van, making deliveries in a designated area while adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols.

Duties

• Safely operate a box truck or van for the purpose of delivering goods to customers.
• Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules, making adjustments as necessary for efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and delivery confirmations.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
• Assist with warehouse duties when not on the road, including inventory management and organization.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during transportation.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Experience in moving or courier services is preferred.
• Proficiency in driving vans or box trucks, with a valid commercial driver's license (if required).
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during loading and unloading processes.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools for efficient delivery planning.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for record keeping.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $110.00 - $200.00 per day

Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
