FT - 3rd Shift
Hours are 10 : 30 p.m. - 7 : 00 a.m.
Every other weekend and Holiday Rotation
Duties and Key Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance of hospital real property equipment systems and infrastructure, equipment inspections and testing, remodeling and infrastructure repair projects, and work through the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
Performs security responsibilities such as making security rounds, locking doors, and crowd control as required.
Plans daily shift activities with Plant Operations Coordinator or designee to discuss work assignments or concerns that relate to departments overall responsibilities.
Performs electrical repairs, installations and inspections.
Requirements
Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Good interpersonal skills when dealing with patients, families, and coworkers.
Requires full range of body motion, manual finger dexterity, eye and hand coordination, standing and walking for extensive periods of time, occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to and excess of 100 pounds.
Must have an acceptable driving record based on Motor Vehicle Report results per GLHS Fleet / Vehicle Safety policy.
Education / Certifications
High School Diploma is required.
Experience
Previous experience performing Facility / Maintenance tasks is preferred.
