Summary/Objective
The Epicor Engineer I analyzes and transfers customer and engineering information into the production system to enable manufacturing.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Acts as a liaison between sales, engineering, and production
- Analyzes blueprints and other documentation to develop shop routings
- Prepares critical production documents for job packets
- Processes jobs and replacement part orders
- Cross trains in other materials departments such as purchasing, inventory, etc.
- Education and Experience
- Previous experience in manufacturing facility working with blueprints and shop routing documents (machining, assembly, other production positions) preferred, but not required
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
- Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred but not required
- Technology
- Windows PC proficiency
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous ERP system experience a plus. Epicor ERP experience preferred
