This is a 100% onsite position in East Peoria, Illinois.

Summary/Objective

The Epicor Engineer I analyzes and transfers customer and engineering information into the production system to enable manufacturing.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Acts as a liaison between sales, engineering, and production
• Analyzes blueprints and other documentation to develop shop routings
• Prepares critical production documents for job packets
• Processes jobs and replacement part orders
• Cross trains in other materials departments such as purchasing, inventory, etc.
  
  

Qualification

• Education and Experience
• Previous experience in manufacturing facility working with blueprints and shop routing documents (machining, assembly, other production positions) preferred, but not required
• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred but not required
• Technology
• Windows PC proficiency
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Previous ERP system experience a plus. Epicor ERP experience preferred
• Knowledge
• Steel Manufacturing Production and Processing - Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
• Mechanical - Knowledge of relevant machines and tools
