Job Responsibilities
The Water Spider is responsible for moving material to and from the Solid Race Grind Area, coordinating with Production Control to open new orders and obtain the appropriate paperwork as well as weigh counting tubs and orders to ensure move quantities are accurate. This employee should be able to follow all procedures.

Job Responsibilities
The Water Spider is responsible for moving material to and from the Solid Race Grind Area, coordinating with Production Control to open new orders and obtain the appropriate paperwork as well as weigh counting tubs and orders to ensure move quantities are accurate. This employee should be able to follow all procedures.
Essential Duties And Accountabilities
- Maintain part identification on all work that flows through the area
- Responsible for parts coming in from other areas.
- Moving parts to and from appropriate locations per control plan/traveler
- Keep the work area clean and organized
- Weigh count production and enter data on spreadsheet/software in computer
- Support departmental goals concerning housekeeping, safety, quality, productivity, delivery and Standard Work/5s/Lean.
- Maintains knowledge of current quality and safety systems and other regulatory compliance
- Retrieve materials from storehouse for Departments 55
- Assist in quality sorts as required by Team Lead/Supervisor
- No supervisory responsibilities.
- Must be able to lift 40lbs.
- Standing/walking long hours.
- Ability to work weekends and overtime as requested.
- Must work with a high level of attention to detail.
- Must be able to maintain composure and focus when completing assigned tasks.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must have good organization skills.
- High school diploma/G.E.D. Required
- Forklift experience preferred

- This position has an exposure to moderate noise levels, moving mechanical parts, electrical power distribution and controls, compressed air systems, hydraulic systems, steam distribution and generation, water, various types of lubricants, chemical and wash baths, extreme heat, mechanical machine operation, etc.
- Will be regularly required to climb, stand, sit, and reach with hands, fingers, and arms.
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, and crouching are required.
- This position requires regular lifting of work up to 40 pounds, and push or pulling work up to 125 pounds with proper equipment.
