Position : IT Manager

Location : Hopkinsville, KY

Key Responsibilities :

Reporting Relationship : Reports to the Director of Finance.
IT Strategy : Manage the planning, evaluation, design, development, and implementation of information systems, and direct telecommunications throughout the organization.
Technology Management : Ensure hardware and software are current, up-to-date, and support business operations.
Business Planning : Construct the information services business plan, and plan, coordinate, and direct research into upgrades and maintenance.
Team Leadership : Direct the work of Information Services Engineers, including hardware and software installation, programming, systems design, network development, and website design.
Consultation : Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and deliver solutions.
Daily Operations : Analyze workflow, establish priorities, develop standards, set deadlines, and ensure smooth department operations.
Budget Control : Review and approve all technology requests, and manage the department budget.
Continuous Improvement : Stay abreast of the latest technology to ensure proper information flow throughout the organization.

Achievement of set goals, including documentation, organization, and timeliness.

Performance in areas of responsibility, including internal audit performance.

Effective problem-solving and customer support.

Requirements

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology strongly preferred).

5 years of manufacturing experience.

4-5 years of I-Series / AS400 experience, with knowledge of Infor ERP systems preferred.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong customer service and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft server and networking.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Developed leadership and training abilities.

Team player and model employee.

Physical Demands :

Regularly required to type, file, or lift office supplies up to 32 pounds.

Required to talk and hear, stand, sit, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and manipulate keyboard keys.

Occasionally required to stand, talk, hear, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.

Vision abilities required include close vision.

Work Environment :

Professional office environment with standard office equipment.

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with possible extended hours and weekend work.

Travel :

Travel required to other locations, training, or for other work-related duties.
