Description
1 REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
1.1 Reports to the Production Control Manager
2 PURPOSE AND DUTIES
2.1 Function:
2.1.1 To provide specific support to the Production Control Manager and administrative support as needed.
2.2 Authority:
2.2.1 Associate has the authority conduct cycle counts as directed by the department manger.
2.2.2 Associate has the authority to perform inventory control transactions as detailed under responsibilities.
2.2.3 Associate has the authority to request expedite shipments from Suppliers when a supplier is found to be delinquent in their obligations towards JCSNA.
3 RESPONSIBILITIES
3.1 Work under the direction of the Production Control Manager to help provide correct forecasts.
3.2 Provide departments with necessary schedules as directed by Production Control Manager.
3.3 Communicate with customer as needed.
3.4 Work closely with production departments on production control issues which allow them to more efficiently meet their needs.
3.5 Keep accurate records of inventory either manually or computerized.
3.6 Support Purchasing / Accounting with follow up on Supplier Invoice Discrepancies.
3.7 Maintain proper inventory levels through timely ordering/releases.
3.8 Support production processes by establishing quantity needs for each raw material and prepare, analyze and submit requirement plan to domestic and or overseas suppliers.
3.9 Maintain accurate data input into ERP Software to support material supply and demand.
3.10 Represent and communicate PC Department activities for ECO/ECR planning activities and coordinate change and monitor component inventory levels according to department objectives and guidelines
3.11 Coordinate and monitor component inventory levels for EOP according to department objectives and guidelines
3.12 Coordinate required expedite material with suppliers as needed.
3.13 Responsible for assisting and identifying potential problems or abnormal conditions and establishing countermeasures and corrective action.
3.14 Develop maintain and audit all required Standard Work Instructions that pertain to Component Planning that support TS requirements.
3.15 Perform other job duties as assigned by supervisor.

5 QUALIFICATIONS
5.1 Previous computer experience in Excel, ERP and IFRD Scanning
5.2 Must have three years experience in a materials management.
5.3 An associates degree in production management preferred.
5.4 Experience with Customs (INCOTERMS) is desirable.
5.5 Knowledge in CTPAT is desirable.
5.6 Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
5.7 Excellent math aptitude.
5.8 Detail oriented.
