Maintenance, Facilities and Infrastructure Manager JTEKT Automotive North America Old Grove Rd, Piedmont, SC Reports to: Plant Manager Salaried Exempt Level 207   Summary/Purpose To provide leadership to the areas of maintenance, facilities and infrastructure/IT.   Essential Duties and Accountabilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily Lead and monitor primary functions of maintenance, facilities, infrastructure and IT, including planning, technical development, capital planning and daily support Develop and communicate a clear strategic vision for all reporting functions Develop strategy to satisfy customers, shareholders and team members Responsible for department performance, analyzing cause and effect and taking appropriate action Develop and be accountable to operating plan and financial commitments Communicate operating plan targets, action plans and financial commitments Promote continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery and cost performance through Kaizen and lead positive changes Support staff and team members by providing training, instruction and leadership with regards to personal growth and job performance Participates as a key member of JTEKT leadership team helping to set direction for the organization and support continual improvement. High-volume manufacturing process experience with machining and assembly operations General knowledge of heating, cooling, ventilation systems, and IATF 16949/ISO requirements Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written Proficient computer skills Flexible working hours, overtime and travel is required.   Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field 8 or more years of related direct supervisory experience     Work Environment/Physical Demands: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   Work shift as assigned and overtime is required, as needed.
