Job description – Senior Copier Technician

This role will support customers with IT tasks, such as devices network troubleshooting, multifunction devices configuration, installation, and security hardening, and supporting internal staff with troubleshooting workstations, network, and office applications. All applicants should be able to change tasks quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment, to learn and grow and become a part of our successful team. Excellent communication skills are a must.

Requirements:

Operates, cleans and makes minor repairs and adjustments to complex copying equipment and offset duplicating machines in producing a considerable volume and variety of printed materials

• Prepares and delivers printer supplies
• Maintains records of materials and supplies used.
• Receives and stores incoming supplies and materials
• Operates a variety of office equipment including a computer; downloads computer files detailing print job requirements as necessary; prepares digital image files using various software applications.
• Monitor inventory levels of printing supplies s; receive, stock, assist with ordering and maintaining inventory of supplies
• Provide technical support and training to end users
• Provide Preventive Maintenance on print fleet
• Resolve printer errors
• Repair printers as needed
• Provide assistance to Senior Technician in relations to all contract obligations and requirements

Responsibilities:

• Manage escalated technical desktop support incidents and provide functional support and assistance to a local and nation-wide customer base, following specific processes and guidelines to ensure that tasks are completed consistently and efficiently
• Receive and respond to customer inquiries, requests, and escalations via telephone, email
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems to satisfy requests. Do any necessary research and on the job training necessary to resolve incidents in a timely and efficient manner
• Correctly refer unresolved problems to high level support technicians and/or groups when the situation requires it

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in any of the following: A , Security , Network , ITIL, MCP, or equivalent certifications
