Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Electrical Apprentice to join our team. The apprentice will assist electricians in completing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs while learning on the job. This role requires dedication to safety, a willingness to learn, and a proactive attitude.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Comprehend and abide by safety policies and customer procedures; promptly report all incidents and violations to the supervisor.
- Participate in weekly safety meetings and demonstrate safe work habits.
- Perform basic job site tasks, including material handling, housekeeping, and tool maintenance.
- Assist electricians by following directions to install and handle electrical components and materials.
- Keep work areas, tools, and materials organized and clean.
- Aid in wire pulling and basic wire terminations under supervision.
- Identify and install common electrical devices, fittings, and wires.
- Operate cable pullers and feeders and bend/install conduit using manual and machine benders.
- Assist in mounting and installing raceways, fixtures, and electrical systems.
- Follow project-specific duties and assignments as directed by the supervisor.
- Ensure tasks are performed in a timely and efficient manner.
Working Conditions:
- Work in various environments, indoors and outdoors, including extreme weather conditions.
- Operate from heights using ladders, scaffolds, and mechanical lifts (up to 135’).
- Use personal protective equipment as required (e.g., hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed boots).
- Travel to out-of-town job sites and work overtime or shifts as needed.
- Perform repetitive motions and tolerate extended periods of physical activity.
Physical Requirements:
- Must bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, and balance as necessary.
- Lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Perform overhead work and use hands and feet repetitively.
- Identify wire colors and possess normal or corrected vision and hearing.
- Secure tools and materials from storage for task completion.

Pay range: $20 - $32 HR
