What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Agent position at jti, inc.?
Part-Time Leasing Agent for a multi-family housing needed to work minimum summer hours 39 a week, fall/spring hours 29 hours a week. Monday - Friday between the hours of 9 am - 5:30 pm, Saturdays (mandatory) 10 am - 4 pm. Must be able to work flexible hours. Some college preferred but not required. Ability to multitask, knowledge and/or experience in leasing a plus, knowledge of office equipment (fax machine, scan, email, etc.).
Job Duties include but not limited to:
- Meet with potential residents and take them on tours of available units
- Prepare and execute leases in accordance with our property standards and regulations
- Conduct credit checks and other background tasks to qualify potential renters
- Collect application fees and rent payments
- Follow up with prospective renters
- Monitor use of community facilities, including laundry and mail
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, E-Mail, Fax Machine, Copier/Scanner
- Resident Retention - ensuring residents needs are attended to in a timely manner as well as following up regarding any issues residents have.
- Other duties as assigned by Property Manager
