What This Position Is About - Purpose
The position executes the Warehouse and Logistics operations within JTI USA:
- Ensure the efficient operation of all warehouses in the country, both JTI and/or third-party-operated, partnering with trade and RTM teams.
- Maintain high standards according to the Warehouse playbook to build operational excellence capabilities while initiating and deploying improvements.
- Collaborating with the community, sharing and implementing best practices, and supporting global initiatives/projects.
- Overseeing and performing activities related to transporting and importing finished goods up to the last mile, including organizing transportation, documentation preparation and control, customs coordination with 3PLs, maintaining and providing evidence and reports to state authorities, and maintaining one ERP system.
- Adequate and efficient transfers of goods from factories to the US and across the regional warehouses according to the plan.
What Will You Do - Responsibilities
Warehousing Activities
- Handle Warehousing tasks as aligned with the WH and Logistics Manager to ensure a smooth, accurate, and efficient end-to-end supply chain.
Preparation of documentation and reporting
- Create, collect, and control the documentation needed for delivery and the customs process (via the one ERP system). Provide all needed documentation to the forwarder and closely communicate with state authorities as needed: customs office, sanitary inspector, FITO inspector, and trade inspector. Control and support the customs process until goods are ready for delivery to the customer.
- Timely and accurately prepares, maintains, and provides all evidence and reports for state authorities (Customs, Statistics, Ministry of Finance, Tax authorities).
- Maintain one ERP set-up related to deliveries in cooperation with other involved parties and monitor documentation preparation.
Delivery Monitoring
- Organize, manage, and coordinate all deliveries to provide timely, smooth, and effective transit time with the support of the planning team. Timely inform all interested parties about delivery status.
- Coordinate/control, with the Finance dept., payment activities for custom taxes in line with defined conditions.
Organization of transportation
- Communicate timely with the customer (vendor, buyer, internal user) regarding the delivery of material/FG/samples. Organize transport where applicable (truck, vessel, airfreight, etc.) or coordinate with GBS/global logistics. Optimize/improve loading factor.
- Support the assessment and implementation of best practices, technologies, and automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.

- Accept to conduct and complete other projects and activities not listed above after being defined and agreed upon with the line manager in accordance with his/her skills, technical knowledge, and level of development.
Who Are We Looking For - Requirements
- University (Preferably: Engineering/Supply chain/Logistics).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience executing logistics operations with continuous improvement projects or equivalent experience. Customer services and/or warehousing experience is an advantage.
- Fluent in English.
- Core warehouse & logistics management operations knowledge: inbound, outbound, inventory reconciliation, storage strategies, order preparation, transport coordination and documentation, customs clearance, order picking, stock accuracy, etc.
- Computer literacy. MS Office, ERP, WMS.
- Available for short travels and onsite warehouse visits.
