What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surgical Navigation Tech- Clinical position at JTS Surgical?
Image Guided Surgery Tech Responsibilities:
- Independently guide and assist surgeons in the operating room by providing clinical and technical support of IGS cases.
- Serve as the sole Company representative to provide direct customer support by attending surgeries and assuring that the proper equipment is available and functioning.
- Increasing IGS sales through assisting the sales teams and building own accounts by means of working with existing customers as well as identify new customers in order to grow your territory
- Communicating with current and new IGS customer accounts regarding a variety of topics including product updates, changes to product portfolio and educational programs
- Learn or hone selling skills and processes by coaching/mentoring support from IGS Sales Representatives and Managers
- Provide on-site consulting, guidance and assistance to physicians and OR personnel by evaluating options and problem-solving during surgery in order to maximize IGS (Image Guided Surgery) product efficiency and usage.
- Direct and assist Radiology staff in performing necessary scans prior to surgery
- Educate and train physicians and hospital personnel, including OR staff, Radiology, Central Sterile Processing, Biomedical and Information Technologies staff, on the use of IGS products and services.
- Work closely with the Regional Manager to ensure the territories needs are being met while communicating case outcomes.
- Maintaining customer relationships with hospitals and surgeons in their territory.
- Act as primary customer liaison, maintaining contact with customer, assessing satisfaction and usage levels, and working to increase case volume in the territory
- Troubleshoot and utilize independent judgment to respond to physician needs; address customer requests; effectively manage hospital billing, create / close purchase orders.
- Ability to participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours, as required
- Maintaining system and equipment cleanliness

- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree and/or OR experience
- Proficient in the use of PC software applications including Microsoft Office
- Self-motivated, detail oriented and a proven history of ability to make independent decisions
