What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASAP Apartment Maintenance Tech position at JTSP?

Candidates must have a minimum 1 year of building maintenance and be proficient in electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Repairing and unclogging toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers, and exterior drains
- Replacing carpets and wooden floors
- Installing and repairing wires, plugs, and switches
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in communal areas.
- Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
- Estimate time and extent of repairs
- Perform routine preventive maintenance
- Maintain material and supply inventory
- Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
- Own their own set of tools
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Deadline and detail-oriented
