The Immigration Attorney advises and represents clients in relation to their legal rights and has a strong background in immigration law, excellent client communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality legal services to our diverse clientele. You will be responsible for managing a full caseload, providing legal representation to individuals and families, and ensuring compliance with all immigration-related procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Get appropriate documents prepared, such as motions, pleadings, notices, and discovery requests and responses
  • Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings
  • Provide guidance and advice to associate attorneys and paralegals to resolve or prevent conflicts
  • Stay updated on changing applicable laws and statutes on the local, state, and federal levels
  • Handle a wide range of immigration cases, including family-based immigration, asylum, removal defense, employment-based immigration, and naturalization.
  • Conduct client consultations, assess cases, and provide strategic legal advice.
  • Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation.
  • Represent clients in immigration court, administrative hearings, and interviews before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and other relevant agencies.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and answering any questions or concerns.
  • Explain complex legal concepts in a clear and accessible manner to clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Conduct thorough legal research on relevant immigration laws, regulations, and case precedents.
  • Draft persuasive legal briefs, motions, and other legal documents in support of clients' cases, when applicable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
