The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting the growth of our traffic engineering group, which currently consists of 7 individuals ranging in experience from 0 years to 20 years. This group has consistently grown in its ability to capture and complete quality work, and now needs additional engineering experts to grow the traffic engineering practice company wide. This position reports to the Technical Resources Lead within the Transportation Services Group (TSG).Traffic Group Technical Roles
- Support the growth and development of the technical traffic practice companywide.
- Prepare traffic deliverables for local, state, private, and federally funded projects.Have knowledge of or ability to grow expertise in : o Sidrao Vissimo Visumo HCSo Synchroo OpenPaths (Cube)o VistroUnder the direction of a licensed engineer, develop expertise and the ability to work on : o Travel Demand Modelingo Signalization and Corridor Timingo Transportation Master Planso Traffic Impact Studieso Maintenance of Traffic (MOT)o Illuminationo Signing and Stripingo Traffic Safety Analysiso Noise Studieso Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)Traffic Group Team Role
- Support strategic planning of traffic group operations.
- Manage workload and identify workload gaps.
- Proven ability to work with others and adhere to project schedules.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, supporting multiple offices and teams.
- Strong communication and writing skills.Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering;
- Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification
- 0-2 years of progressive traffic engineering experience.
