Professional Engineer – Discipline Lead – Traffic Engineering

We are seeking a Professional Engineer (Discipline Lead – Traffic). The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the leadership and growth of our traffic engineering group, which currently consists of 7 individuals ranging in experience from 0 years to 20 years. This group has consistently grown in its ability to capture and complete quality work, and now needs a leader capable of growing the traffic engineering practice company wide. This position reports to the Technical Resources Lead within the Transportation Services Group (TSG).

Technical Roles

• Lead the traffic engineering technical practice companywide and function as a senior traffic engineering technical resource.
• Work with transportation project managers to provide traffic engineering support and independently manage project discipline / task deliverables.
• Independently conduct and supervise traffic deliverables for private, local, state, and federally funded projects.
• Perform technical quality control / quality assurance for traffic engineering deliverables.
• Represent clients in public meetings or open houses and conduct project meetings.

Salary Range :

150,000-$185,000 per year DOE
