What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Life Coach position at Jubilance Behavioral Services?
Jubilance’s Vision is to increase diversity and inclusivity in our society and culture for our special needs community. We are committed to learning from the history of ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) with a desire to reform and revamp the application of ABA, and generate new behavioral therapy solutions that transcend previous limitations. Simultaneously, we believe in the strength of community and when we create alliances within our communities, the opportunities for inclusion multiply.
Philosophy: Jubilance by definition is a feeling or expression of great joy and triumph. When we accomplish something that is meaningful to us, it brings joy into our lives and oftentimes sparks a connection to our personal sense of purpose. At Jubilance Behavioral Services we provide a service to our clients and their families that supports these breakthroughs and successful experiences. Whether the accomplishment is big or small, we celebrate them all. We believe that each success is a representation of the stepping stones in our clients’ lives that pave the path to living their life with as much joy as possible.
While providing our services, there is a valued emphasis on keeping an open mind and a curiosity to finding new solutions together. We get curious about the past and any previous limitations that impeded our clients from pursuing or having access to something they desire in their life. We question these previous limitations, assess the situations, and set goals for what is needed to bridge these previous gaps. We are dedicated to finding new solutions that expand and increase the potential for more accessibility, positive possibilities, and inclusion in our communities.
Our mission: We are in service to bringing inclusion to places in our society where it does not yet exist, and to expand on the places in which it is already happening. We do this by equipping our clients with the necessary resources and skills needed to be the kind of active member they wish to be in their community. Secondly, we value being active members in our community, building alliances, and working together to create more opportunities for inclusion.
Act as a Pilot Clinician of Jubilance Behavioral Services.
Jubilance Behavioral Services is a startup organization, beginning in 2024. We’re looking for an eclectic team, consisting of people who gravitate towards wanting to renovate and revamp ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis). Our definition of clinician is a person who integrates their clinical training and experience with their intuition in service to our clients’ best interests. We believe listening to feedback from employees, clients, and clients’ families is necessary information, imperative to better inform our organization on how to continue improving, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve as well as our team of clinicians. Our company culture is created through our shared collaboration. Acting as a pilot has a two-pronged meaning. One is being a team member in the first stages of operations and setting things in motion. Two, being one employed to help steer the ship, guide, and set the course for introducing our services more widely.
