Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP EWM Integration Consultant to manage and enhance the integration between SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and other systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain processes, SAP EWM, and integration technologies to deliver seamless solutions for warehouse operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesSAP EWM Implementation and Integration:
- Design, configure, and implement SAP EWM solutions to meet warehouse and logistics requirements.
- Integrate SAP EWM with SAP ERP systems like SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
- Ensure seamless communication between SAP EWM and other systems, such as third-party logistics systems, automation tools, and carrier systems.
Interface Development:
- Develop and manage interfaces using middleware tools like SAP PI/PO, CPI, or IDoc-based communication.
- Implement and troubleshoot integrations using standard EWM tools such as RF frameworks, EDI, and web services.
Process Optimization:
- Analyze current warehouse processes and suggest EWM integration enhancements to improve efficiency.
- Optimize goods receipt, put-away, picking, and packing processes using SAP EWM.
Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide Level 2/3 support for integration issues related to SAP EWM.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IDoc failures, RFC communication issues, and middleware errors.
- Monitor system performance and resolve bottlenecks in the integration landscape.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Work with developers, business analysts, and external partners to ensure end-to-end process alignment.
Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain integration-related technical documentation, including system landscapes, data flows, and process maps.
- Train end-users and technical teams on EWM integration workflows and troubleshooting.
QualificationsEducation:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- 5 years of SAP EWM experience, with at least 2 years in EWM-ERP or external system integration.
- Hands-on experience with SAP EWM functionalities like warehouse process types, physical inventory, and advanced shipping.
- Strong knowledge of middleware tools (SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI) and EDI/IDoc processing.
- Proven track record of implementing SAP EWM in large-scale warehouse environments.
Skills:
- Deep understanding of warehouse management processes and SAP EWM architecture.
- Strong knowledge of integration protocols (RFC, HTTP, SOAP, REST).
- Experience with SAP TM and EWM integration is a plus.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in SAP EWM or related modules.
- Knowledge of automation systems (e.g., AS/RS, conveyors) and their integration with SAP EWM.
- Experience in SAP Fiori apps for warehouse operations.
