Job Description:

The Sr. Production Planner focuses on planning and scheduling production of SVP filling lines and inspection & packaging. Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Facilitate training for incoming team members and provide coverage support in the absence of the department manager
• Supervise other production planning team members (as required)
• Ensure weekly maintenance of MPS (Monday) /MRP (Tuesday) and its evaluation to make sure it’s aligned for purchasing to run ZPLO report weekly
• Work closely with the Purchasing, Production, Customer Account Managers (CAM), Quality Assurance (Triage Meeting), and Business Excellence other departments to maintain planning and production efficiency.
• Continuously work on process improvement for the planning team
• Planning and scheduling of products in Manufacturing. Modifies and adapts production schedules and issues order changes to accommodate revisions, cancellations, or priorities
• Maintenance of Process Orders in SAP, (create, release, add pertinent notes if any deviation occurred, oversee and execute TECO); including any rework orders and orders for various projects.
• Liaison for Planning scheduling activities of new product introduction with Project Team
• Schedule lines for efficiency, consideration given to: availability of raw materials and equipment, inventory levels of finished goods; drug importance, evolution of sales, requests from Marketing (length of runs)
• Input analysis for Expiration and Aged Inventory report.
• Actively promote company core values, vision, and mission.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years related experience required.
• CPIM certification desired.
• Advanced computer and software skills, SAP or other ERP’s, Microsoft Office required.

Compensation:

• The salary range for this position is $67,725 - $83,700 depending on experience.
