We're hiring a creative and entrepreneurial Sales Lead. This role is at the center of Jubilee’s business and customer journey. You’ll be both the leader of our Sales team, which on Day 1 means also being the first account executive and the 0-to-1 builder of our sales process. The expectation is that you will hire and manage a growing sales team once we have confidence in our sales playbook
Your job will be to design how we explain the Jubilee story and program, and then actually do it. You’ll craft call scripts and then try them out with our customers. You’ll build an initial sales process and then rebuild it based on customer feedback and friction points. You’ll personally nurture warm leads through the entire funnel, and ultimately hire a sales team to run the playbook you’ve helped design. You have a unique opportunity to re-imagine how Americans shop for homes and leave a lasting impact on thousands of customers' financial future.
This role is an in-person role based in our San Francisco office.
What you'll do:
- Build and Manage the full sales-cycle for large value D2C sales from initial interest through home purchase.
- Maintain active engagement with prospects through multi-channels: phone, email, text, chat.
- Be a Jubilee product expert, onboarding new customers to our program with ease.
- Explain financial concepts in a way that is comfortable and easily absorbed by non-financial users.
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve both product and process, communicating feedback and potential solutions.
- Work with our technology team to select and build our sales tool stack to manage all lead data and uphold each system's data integrity.
- Eventually recruit, hire, and manage a sales team to execute on the sales playbook you created
What you'll bring:
- 10 years of professional experience in sales, support or customer-facing role at a D2C technology company or related industry.
- Previous experience building a 0-to-1 sales process in a startup environment, working as both the initial account executive and builder of the function
- Experience selling through multiple channels: phone, text, email, chat.
- Passion for a fast-paced, high-growth, and an always improving environment.
- Strong customer relationship skills: storytelling, listening, compassionate, consultative
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize between competing priorities.
- Exceptional writing skills with attention to grammar and tone.
- Passion for learning and eagerness to dive into the complex world of real estate.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Active California Real Estate Salespersons license and/or a California Individual MLO License (or a willingness to quickly get both licenses).
- Bonus qualifications if you’ve worked in real estate or the mortgage industry
