What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at Jubilee Market Place?
Full/Part-time Position
Barista
About us:
Jubilee Marketplace opened its first doors in 1999-2000 in NYC. For 20-plus years, we have been one of the first supermarkets to offer organic, gourmet, and specialty products.
Fast forward to 2023, when we open our biggest store in Greenpoint! We are pushing the boundaries of what a supermarket is by being the first supermarket to offer local, pasture-raised meat in a whole animal butcher shop. We dry age all of our own meats, have a cheese shop, a sustainable fish program, and we carry local organic produce with a local farm stand at the helm of the store front. We believe the future of supermarkets can be more than just common denominator goods.
About You:
We are searching for experienced Baristas to join the Culinary Team at our new location. We work with local purveyors to source great ingredients, and showcase them in our cafe and through the production of value-added products.
If you are a team-player who is passionate about food and are interested in being a vital member of our growing team, we’d love to hear from you!
