What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Store Manager position at Jubilee Ministries?
Accountable to: Store Manager
Status: Full Time; Non-Exempt
Purpose: To assist in providing leadership and management to the store
Qualifications:

Working Conditions/Physical Factors: Occasionally= 1-33% Frequently= 34-66% Continuously= 67%-100%
• Lifting (under 25lbs)- Frequently
• Lifting (over 25lbs)- Occasionally
• Standing- Continuously
• Bending/Reaching/Grabbing- Frequently
• Interacting with/ Assisting Customers- Continuously
• Working in various weather conditions- Occasionally
Duties:
1. Assist manager in store operations and supervising staff ensuring policy and procedures are being followed.
2. Assist manager in overseeing the display of merchandise throughout the store.
3. Assist in resolving customer complaints and returns.
4. Assist in cash register operations during busy times or to provide adequate coverage.
5. Assist in opening and closing the store as instructed.
6. Be alert for shoplifting and follow Shoplifting Policy.
7. Be a part of staff meetings and team building.
8. Other duties as assigned.
