What you’ll do
- Invoice processing
- Codes and enters invoices into the JD Edwards Accounts Payable system
- Scans invoices into DocView imaging system
- Edits batches to ensure accuracy
- Ensures compliance with company policies & procedures
- Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations
- Participates in weekly payment processing
- Check printing, distribution, and mailing
- Creating and transmitting ACH and Visa payment files to the bank for processing
- Transmitting Positive Pay file
- Completing associated reporting
- Communicates with vendors, Accounting, Purchasing, and our local offices as necessary
- Investigates vendor invoice and payment issues
- Reconciles vendor statements
What sets you apart
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Prior Accounts Payable work experience preferred (using a computerized Accounts Payable system)
- Strong data entry skills and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
