Description
Judd Wire Inc., a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is looking for an Account Specialist to perform the primary functions for assigned Accounts, executing both customer and company objectives to achieve annual performance and profitability goals.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute/liaise all customer requests for quotations, orders, order updates/changes, logistics, customer complaints, and all other customer-related activities.
- Process customer purchase orders– review and ensure accuracy, resolve all discrepancies prior to placement within the system.
- Acquire required information regarding claims, log the complaints into the customer database, follow up for status and communicate output/conclusion to customer upon completion of the internal RMA review process.
- Review customer scorecards and take leadership role to develop action plan when scorecard ratings fall below acceptable levels.
- Provide customer-required inputs into portals. Check portals regularly for customer information (quantity manuals, scorecards, customer-specific information).
- Serve as the escalation point for Accounting and Demand Management issues to ensure timely communication to and from the customer.
- Prepare annual export documents.
- Distribute/assign appropriate clerical duties for the above mentioned tasks to Sales Administration, ensuring accurate and timely outputs.
- Develop and maintain strong/trusting relationships with Buyers and Procurement personnel.
- Coordinate activity with cross-functional teams to ensure the Account’s financial and technical goals/objectives are met.
- Support achievement of sales/profit objectives through the respective Business Unit’s accounts, presentation materials, and other key information pertaining to the assigned account and it’s programs.
- Perform other similar duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associates’ Degree or 3-5 years of practical experience in a similar sales function in lieu of a degree.
- Team oriented and customer focused individual.
- Possess excellent organizational skills and work well in a dynamic environment.
- Strong computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to produce timely, accurate, and professional correspondence.
