We are currently seeking an Assistant Hub Director for our Southwestern locations (Springfield, Joplin, etc.!

The Associate Hub Director is responsible for assisting in successfully leading and directing the various Judevine services within that geographical area. Such services may include (but not limited to) Residential, Behavior Analysis, Person Centered Strategy Consultation, Independent Living Skills, Day Services, Training and Consultation. He or she ensures, along with the Hub Director, that the Hub services achieves Judevine’s mission, strategic objectives, goals, and scorecard measurements, and meets the quality standards set by Judevine, its funders and its accreditation agencies.
Our Assistant Hub Director will:
- Assist in carrying out program expansions, curtailments and changes as client needs change, collaboration opportunities with other agencies emerge, and funding and funding requirements change. Assist with determining and directing improvements in effectiveness and efficiency for the Hub.
- Execute quality standards for Hub services that meet or exceed standards set by funders and accreditation agencies. Ensure that quality is continuously improved and re-set quality standards to reflect those improvements. Lead by creating a culture that sets high quality and efficiency expectations. Ensure that standards mandated by accreditation groups and funding groups are met in all Hub services.
- Provide support for client families.
- Create and implement a feedback loop from clients, client families to the direct care staff. This systematic feedback continuously lets employees know how they are doing, where program and individual improvements are possible and where praise and recognition for employees are deserved. Facilitate and encourage change that reflects client needs.
- Supervise direct reports. Counsel, coach and hold Judevine employees accountable for mutually agreed-upon results, including the development and close monitoring of clients’ person-centered plans and behavior development plans, as appropriate. Ensure that ISP/PCP and BDP client goals are realistic and that an ambitious but realistic percentage of goals are attained.
- Set and implement sound employee practices. Ensure that employees meet training and certification requirements, that internal HR reporting requirements are met and that hiring practices for Hub services are effective and efficient. Ensure that administrative tasks are delegated appropriately.
- Assist in meeting annual budget requirements for the specific Hub. Assist in meeting revenue targets, including meeting the maximum number of authorizations for services. Stay within budget guidelines/restrictions. Help to monitor actual revenue and expenses of area against budget and report reasons for variance.
- Work with funders and case managers/support coordinators to make sure their requirements and needs are met, delegating responsibility appropriately.
- Participate in professional organizations and networks; work with other providers of services like those offered through Judevine.
- Be on call to handle emergencies and fill in shifts when necessary.
- Attend professional conferences and make presentations. Act as spokesperson for Judevine when appropriate.
- Ensure that Judevine property assigned is managed appropriately.
- Participate and lead internal committees and projects as necessary. Attend staff meetings. Ensure that internal management reports are accurate and timely.
Requirements
These are some of the qualities we are looking for in our Assistant Hub Director:
- Knowledge of treatment and training for individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities; knowledge of programs and services for individuals with autism.
- Ability to turn feedback from clients and their families, case workers, colleagues, and data into program improvements quickly and efficiently.
- Proven ability to work with families of individuals with disabilities.
- Leadership skills. Good communication skills. Ability to delegate and hold supervised staff accountable for results. Ability to counsel employees, recognize talent, reward good performance.
Education: Must have bachelor’s degree in social work, education, therapy, psychology, sociology, human services, or related field.
Expertise: Working knowledge of developmental disabilities field.
Experience: At least three years of successful work experience at a social services agency, government unit or similar organization, including significant management or supervisory experience.
