What are the responsibilities and job description for the EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST position at Judevine Center for Autism?
This position is flexible in nature and provides a unique opportunity for the employee to make their own schedule while working with several consumers each week. In this position you will provide employment support, community support and respite relief to consumers. These services could be throughout the St. Louis Metro area. - Provide support to adults with autism and other developmental disabilities in the community to increase their community independence and work readiness skills
- Assist adults with autism and related developmental disabilities in exploring employment opportunities through research and volunteer work
- Support adults with autism and related developmental disabilities on the job through coaching and retention in the work setting, as well as within the community as a whole
- Provide support to consumers in the community to make connections and become an active member in their community
- Provide respite to consumers of various ages to provide relief to families while building upon skills of the consumer
Compensation details: 21-23 Hourly Wage
