Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded.
- Ensure the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconcile subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger.
- Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Perform analytical reviews and interpretation of financial data, providing understandable explanations to non-financial business partners.
- Determine and calculate accounting treatment for accruals in an accurate and timely manner.
- Handle special projects as assigned, including vendor incentives accounting and financial analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure accuracy in financial records.
