What are the responsibilities and job description for the Continuous Improvement Manager position at Judge Direct Placement?
Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Production Manager in New Orleans, LA area! The candidate will be responsible for all production line operations focusing on operations excellence and CI in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
*** MUST have food manufacturing experience ***
Responsibilities:
- Work with all production managers and supervisors to drive process optimization and efficiency
- Analyze data and identify areas for improvement
- Design and implement new workflows
- Act as a change agent, supporting and leading others through implementation of new processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and buy in from all levels of the organization
- Provide training and coaching to all employees on CI best practices
- Ensure consistency through use of training and development of SOP’s
- Coordinate work of the operations staff with shift supervisors
- Administer performance reviews for all direct reports
- Ensure all plant procedures are implemented and followed
- Maintain & enforce safety programs and procedures
- Carry out all directives from the VP of Operations
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 2 years experience in a manufacturing facility
- Manage 6-10 supervisors in multiple departments
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
