Judge Direct Placement is seeking an Environmental Manager in Sioux City, IA area! This position is tied to the wastewater and rendering department and reports to the Sr Manager of Wastewater & Rendering The Environmental Manager is responsible for developing and implementing environmental strategies to minimize ecological impact, overseeing waste management, monitoring air and water quality, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, conducting environmental audits, collaborating with various departments to promote sustainable practices within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute environmental plans aligned with the company’s goals including sustainability initiatives
- Monitor and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal environmental regulations
- Monitor air and water quality on a regular basis to identify potential pollution and take corrective action
- Conduct internal environmental audits
- Develop and implement plans to respond to environmental emergencies
- Understand environmental laws, regulations, and scientific principles related to air, water, and waste management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 8 years experience in manufacturing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CAD Experience a plus
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
