What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor position at Judge Direct Placement?
JDP is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor in Syracuse, NY area!
Hours are going to be about 1 pm to about 10:30/10:45 pm
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all production, housekeeping, and support department activities on shift.
- Ensure proper and accurate paperwork and reports, distribute, collect and retain same.
- Provide training, tools, equipment, materials, time, and meeting time as needed.
- Promote safety and ensure Co. policies, GMPs and SOPs are well communicated and followed.
- Promote plant-wide food safety and participate with FS systems, audits, and committees.
- Properly and positively motivate employees to obtain Company safety, production, housekeeping and FS goals.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule - including occasional overtime/weekend work
- Previous experience in a high-speed manufacturing setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication, math, and computer skills
- Ability to lead/motivate team towards stated goals
- Excellent mechanical skills, abilities, and experience
- We need someone committed to high visibility and time on our production floor.
Requirements:
- Associates degree preferred
- 2 years supervisory experience
- Mechanical experience maintaining equipment
- Ability to execute plans/projects
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
