We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Warehouse Operations. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring proper storage of materials, maintaining safety standards, and leading a team of warehouse staff to support production and distribution operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control, including receiving, storing, and shipping of raw materials, finished goods, and supplies. Ensure accurate inventory levels, monitor stock levels, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and lead warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management. Foster a positive, team-oriented environment that supports operational goals.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling, routing, and ensuring timely deliveries to and from the manufacturing plant. Work closely with the procurement and logistics teams to align warehouse operations with production schedules.
- Warehouse Organization: Ensure efficient and effective layout of the warehouse to optimize space utilization, ensure the smooth flow of materials, and minimize handling time. Implement and maintain 5S or other organizational systems to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Safety & Risk Management: Oversee safety procedures in the warehouse, conducting regular safety audits, and ensuring that safety protocols are followed at all times. Report and address any safety hazards, accidents, or near misses.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize processes. Lead initiatives for cost savings, operational improvements, and quality enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a food and beverage manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, and supply chain processes.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations (FDA, HACCP) and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
