Location: Chandler, AZ (On-site: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Length: 12 Months

Job Description:

We are seeking an Application Secure Code Engineer with experience in Black Duck SCA and knowledge of bug bars. The ideal candidate will have a background in the financial industry and be able to report to our Chandler office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Black Duck SCA to identify open-source dependencies in source code, files, artifacts, containers, and firmware.
• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering.
• Contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables.
• Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering to resolve moderately complex issues.
• Ensure compliance with function, policies, procedures, and requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• 4 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 3 years of experience as an application secure code engineer.
• Strong communication skills and ability to self-manage complex issues.
• Experience with DAST/SAST/SCA (Black Duck) scanning.
• Experience in security consulting on complex issues related to data access, integrity, confidentiality, and business continuity.
• Technical experience working with development teams on defect remediation.
• Application security experience with banking/financial services applications.
• Hands-on experience with application security coding.
• Knowledge or experience with bug bars.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to evaluate complex issues.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
