Computer/Electronics Engineering Manager

Location: Sterling (Township), IL
Salary: $150,000.00 USD Annually - $180,000.00 USD Annually
Description:
Judge Direct Placement is seeking an Electronics Engineering Manager in Sterling, IL area! The candidate will lead a team of software developers and electronics engineers. The team will design the circuit boards and write the software that controls & drives products!

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of 8-10 developers and engineers who are building the software and electronics
• Working with Product Managers to understand customers needs and business requirements and develop those requirements into technical tasks and software features
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure test schedules and QA involvement in the development process is timely & thorough
• Oversee the development process, assist with prioritization, task management and project tracking
• Communicate with senior leadership about projects
• Own the hiring process for new positions to include contract roles

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3 years managing software and/or electronics hardware development teams
• Experience working as part of the design/requirements process
• Strong Project Management skills
• Familiar with software development methods and ALM tools
• Familiarity with embedded software tools, such as C/C , linux, RTOS, etc. is a plus
