Responsibilities
1. Cloud Cost Optimization - Identifying cost-saving opportunities, such as right-sizing resources, leveraging discounts (e.g., reserved instances, spot instances), and optimizing storage solutions.
2. Monitoring & Reporting - Implementing real-time cost tracking, analytics, and reporting tools to provide visibility into cloud expenses.
3. Automation & Governance - Developing scripts, policies, and frameworks to enforce cost control measures and improve operational efficiency.
4. Collaboration - Working closely with finance, engineering, and operations teams to align cloud spending with business objectives.
5. Budgeting & Forecasting - Implementing financial planning strategies to predict cloud expenses and prevent overspending.
