Position Type: contract
Hybrid: 3 days onsite/week
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer IV to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java/Kotlin and/or Java/C#/C programming, with a strong background in map development, Windows/Mac application development, and wireless communication technologies. The candidate will be responsible for developing, designing, and optimizing software modules, particularly map modules and parsers for wireless protocols.
Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize map modules using Java/Kotlin for location-based drive route analysis and geospatial visualization. Design and develop parsers using Java/C#/C for wireless protocols, specifically LTE and 5G. Optimize system performance, improve product stability, and manage power consumption. Collaborate with team members to design and develop frameworks for KPI extraction and synchronization. Develop modules for communication with various servers. Code and verify physical layer and network protocol requirements for modems. Conduct field log analysis and troubleshoot problems. Develop and execute unit test strategies and test plans. Work with various technologies including React.JS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and databases like PostgresSQL and MongoDB.
Utilize tools such as XCAL, QXDM, Wireshark, and QCAT for protocol analysis and testing.
Qualifications:
7-10 years of experience in software development. 5 years of experience in Java/Kotlin or Java/C/C programming.
3 years of experience in Windows/MAC OS application development. Experience in map module development and using Google/ESRI map APIs.
Experience with Socket/HTTP/REST APIs. Experience with Qualcomm QXDM/QCAT or Accuver XCAL/XCAP is preferred. Strong understanding of wireless communication technologies (NR 5G, LTE, VoLTE, CDMA, EvDO, WCDMA, GSM/EDGE, TCP/IP). Strong knowledge of LTE and network architecture, including Radio Access Network and LTE Air Interface layers.
Experience with wireless modem logging, analysis, and protocol analyzers. Experience with cloud-based offerings (Amazon EC2, Heroku, etc.).
Proficiency in web front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, React.JS). Experience with databases such as PostgresSQL, Mongodb, MySQL, and Redis.
