Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer Contractor

Location: Wilmington, DE (preferred) or Jersey City, NJ

Onsite Requirement: Minimum 3 days onsite, ideally 5 days in Wilmington, DE

Duration: 12 months (Straight contract, no plans to convert)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer Contractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of networking concepts, experience with Palo Alto products, and the ability to integrate these products with our existing systems. This role involves network analysis, data capture, and working closely with our team to ensure seamless network operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee network operations and perform detailed network analysis.
• Capture and analyze network data to identify and resolve issues.
• Integrate Palo Alto products with existing network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure network security and efficiency.
• Maintain and manage DMZ and other network segments.
• Utilize Python for network automation and scripting (nice to have).
• Leverage cloud technologies to enhance network capabilities (useful to have).
• Implement and manage Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solutions (strong plus).

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto products.
• Proficiency in Python for network automation (nice to have).
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and their application in networking.
• Experience with DMZ and network segmentation.
• Familiarity with SASE solutions (strong plus).
• Ability to work onsite in Wilmington, DE or Jersey City, NJ for a minimum of 3 days per week.

Additional Information:

• This is a 12-month contract position with no plans for conversion to a permanent role.
• The team is ideally based in Wilmington, DE, but candidates in Jersey City, NJ will also be considered.
