Description: Our client is currently seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to work in Jersey City.
Seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team.
Years of experience 8
Pay Rate - $65/hr (some flexibility)
Duration- 12 months
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in designing and developing software, with a strong focus on infrastructure and network knowledge. This role requires a deep understanding of open-source software development, hypervisors, and software-defined networking technologies such as NSX.
Design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
Leverage open-source software like openstack, kvm to build robust and scalable infrastructure applications.
Demonstrate expertise in infrastructure and network architecture .
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software-defined networking solutions like NSX.
This team provides automation for platform teams to request infrastructure from their API's. Heavy VMWare products, but they are trying to create something similar in house.
Needs infrastructure engineers who can code. Also, will consider software engineers who have strong networking - Hypervisor knowledge and experience is a must
Must haves: Hypervisors, Networking
Nice to haves: VMWare, KVM, (Java, Python, or C )
